Service

MicroTTS provides text-to-speech synthesis through a Chrome extension and a HTTP API. Audio is generated on demand and delivered to the requesting client.

Account & eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your sign-in credentials and API key.

Credits & payments

• Credits are pre-paid and consumed per character of input text.
• Credits do not expire.
• Refunds are available within 14 days for unused balances. Contact [email protected].
• Pricing is in EUR and may change with 30 days notice. Existing balances are honoured at the rate at which they were purchased.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MicroTTS to:

• Generate audio that infringes third-party copyright or impersonates a real person without consent;
• Produce content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit involving minors;
• Bypass quota or rate limits, attempt to access other users' data, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without prior authorisation;
• Resell raw API access without a written agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these terms and to co-operate with law enforcement on lawful requests.

Service availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime but provide the service "as is" without warranty. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when possible.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of MicroTTS is limited to the credits you purchased in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dublin, Ireland.
